We are incredibly grateful to the California Fire Foundation for their generous grant, which allowed us to purchase new helmets, boots, and gloves for our firefighters. These critical pieces of PPE meet NFPA standards, ensuring our team stays safe while protecting our community. We are also grateful to the Mi Wuk Sugar Pine Fire Protection District Auxiliary and our community for their donation towards the PPE that covered our cost share portion of the grant. The support of both organizations directly enhances our ability to respond effectively and safely to emergencies.
