Exciting News!

In July 2024, the Mi Wuk Sugar Pine Fire Protection District was awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security FEMA for a new exhaust removal system—and as of yesterday, it is officially installed in our apparatus bay! This system is a vital addition to our station, significantly improving air quality by reducing harmful diesel exhaust exposure. It enhances the health and safety of our firefighters while also benefiting the environment.
